The Florida Marlins have reportedly traded their power hitting first baseman, Mike Jacobs to the Royals. In exchange for the 27 year old, the Marlins will receive pitcher Leo Nunez who went 4-1 with an ERA of 2.98 in 45 relief appearances last year.

Jacobs had been rumored to be on the block for weeks as he is arbitration eligible and will receive a large raise after his 32 HR, 93 RBI season last year.
