SI.com is reporting that the Cincinnati Reds have landed the top remaining free agent closer, Francisco Cordero. The deal apparently spans 4 years for about $46 million. Cordero, who compiled 44 saves last year, had an almost schizophrenic year last year tossing up an impressive 1.09 ERA at home but a startling 6.55 earned run average away from Milwaukee. I guess the Reds are hoping that was just a fluke but it will definitely be interesting to watch throughout the year.
