The Detroit Free Press is reporting that 43-year-old Kenny Rogers has inked a pact with the Tigers that will bring him back for one more season. The terms of the contract weren't available but the most recent offer from the Tigers was reportedly for $8 million.

The Tigers have also signed right-handed reliever Francisco Cruceta to a one-year deal. Cruceta served a 50-game suspension for testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs while with  the Rangers' AAA club last year. He was 3-0 in the 25 games he was allowed to appear in.
