As if the Hot Stove hasn’t been exciting enough already so far, tomorrow marks the start of the GM meetings in Florida. With such a limited class of free agents this year, several teams are going to be forced to get creative in the trade market. When you throw in the fact that one of the best pitchers in the game (Johan Santana) is rumored to be available, you’ve got a recipe for a trade rumor extravaganza. As always I’ll try to keep you all on top of the news, notes, and rumblings as quickly as I get word of them. Some players and teams to keep an eye on are Santana (as I mentioned), Miguel Cabrera, Dontrelle Willis, Miguel Tejada, as well as the Phillies, Rockies, and Cardinals.
