Just when Bay Area fans thought it was safe to go back to the ball park, the Sporting News is reporting that the A’s plan to sign him. The contract would reportedly include time off for Barry to deal with his ongoing legal issues. If he signs with the A’s, Barry is hoping that his next deal also includes time off (for good behavior).
