Posted by pops as New York Yankees Rumors
In today's mandatory A-Rod rumor, the New York Daily News has A-Rod settling for $275 million spread over 10 years. That $21 million less than what he could have gotten if he hadn't declared for free agency (and $21 million Texas won't have to pay over the next three years).Word is the contract will be announced once the Yankees close with Mariano Rivera (3 years $45 million).

1I work for a living, I work harder than this jerk. I am tired of these prima donas and there sense of overpriced entitlements. I will watch baseball on TV, but I will never buy any merchandise, tickets or anything related to the greed associated with this perversion

I would think this would be great news for you, then. Here’s a guy who took a fairly substantial pay cut to be with a team he hopes to be able to win with. Plus, he’s doing this without the “help” of the man responsible for much of this “perversion.”
Sounds like a step in the right direction to me.

5having arod back with the yankees is great. there is no better setting for both parties involve. the yankees have a storied past full of history etc.. i think arod can add to that history! bringing with him all records and championships that lies ahead because it is where it truly belongs!
